Long sleeveless blazers | Shopping guide
Long sleeveless blazers are all the rage lately and I don’t know about you, but I really love this trend, and I wouldn’t mind adding a few pieces like these in my wardrobe. I haven’t seen many available choices in stores in my country, but at least there’s online shopping. Personally, I’d start with a classic black one, before I move to a gray or a nude one. I think that it can be a basic piece of your wardrobe, and it is very versatile and looks sophisticated. What do you think? Are you going to give in to this trend? Easy to wear summer dresses
Summer fashion should be easy-to-wear. The temperatures are too high to wear anything more than airy and comfortable clothes, but this doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your sense of style. Fortunately, summer season is full of beautiful dresses for you to choose from: Maxi, mini, midi, monochrome, or printed, they’re all so pretty that you want to buy them all. My personal favorite for this season, are floral prints, but anything bold colored or striped is also bound to attract my attention. I’ve gathered some of my favorite pieces I found online. Along with sunscreen protection and hats, another summer essential is definitely a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses can be worn all year long, especially if you live in a sunny country, but in summer, they’re essential. Your eyes also need protection from the sun and you better give it to them. A good pair of sunglasses is very important, because they have better lenses and definitely better design. But you don’t have to break the bank to afford them; there are many inexpensive options, if you’re on a budget, and pricier ones for the fashionistas of the world. Hoop earrings for summer
Hoop earrings are beautiful in any season, but they really can be seen as “earrings that personify summer” – it seems they give such a boost to any beach or pool look, during the day or evening when we go to nice restaurants along the coast, informal taverns and so on. They are really so “democratic” 🙂 You can find them in many prices and materials and also, they are not just “dull” hoop earrings anymore – they come in a variety of ways, with embellishments and textures. Summer 2015 | Pineapple print trend
Pineapples everywhere! Have you noticed? Pineapple prints are also one of the biggest trends of the summer, and it’s one we love a lot! What’s more summery than a pineapple print? It reminds us of the carefreeness of summer, the beach life, the cocktails, and it’s also very pretty and uplifting. Summer 2015 trend | Kimono
Another trend that has emerged in full-force is the one of kimonos. These too, like culottes, started re-appearing last summer, but now they’re everywhere. The majority of girls have already embraced this trend with joy, and they want to add as many kimonos to their collection as possible, to go with the whole boho/chic trend of this summer. They come in so many prints and styles: monochrome, printed, floral, long, short, with fringes or not. Personally I haven’t embraced this trend yet, but I know many women who have. Waterproof mascaras – swim with confidence!
For the ones who are going to spend summer on beaches or swimming pools, makeup may be a concern – foundations don’t match with the word water. Powder definitely not, but at least you can wear mascaras that will keep you stylish and beautiful and won’t let you down when you go for a dive – they are waterproof! Summer trend 2015 | Culottes
Culottes first reappeared last year, but they didn’t catch the attention of a lot of people. This year though, they’re back in full-force, appearing in every store and in many forms. Culottes are not loved by everyone, but they can be really pretty when done well. There are of course the well-known culotte pants, but what caught my attention was the culotte-jumpsuit. I really want to buy one for myself, so I did some research and came out with some of my favorite items, and I thought I’d share them with you to admire them together.
