Christian Louboutin x Sabyasachi Mukherjee collaboration

Christian Louboutin celebrated 25 years of his eponymous label this year, and he collaborated with Indian haute couture designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The two designers met accidentally, a few years back in Sabyasachi’s Mumbai boutique. Since then, they have collaborated for Sabyasachi’s annual couture show held in Mumbai. Louboutin created for him, the shoes that walked the runway, back in July 2015, followed again in October 2016, with a small number of handbags to go with the shoes.

Christian Louboutin designs his first baby shoes for Goop

Goop, the lifestyle brand founded by the actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has collaborated with the famous French shoe designer Christian Louboutin, to launch a new exclusive collection of baby shoes. It is the first time that Christian Louboutin is bringing out a baby shoe collection and it’s gonna be an exclusive and limited-edition collaboration between him and the brand, so we don’t know whether he’s thinking about creating a permanent baby shoe line with his name. The collection was unveiled on September 15, but it’s set to launch on November 16.

Migato Grecious collection | Summer 2017

This summer, MIGATO presents its Grecious Collection, a new collection of leather sandals in ancient Greek style, entirely made in Greece. Inspired by ancient Greek art, the designs of MIGATO Grecious Collection are decorated with braids, studs and earthy black-and-taupe combos. The name of the collection is a play on the words Greece and gracious, symbolizing their Greek origins and the grace of their elegant designs.

Amalia Gatou, MIGATO’s Creative Director, said: “As a Greek company with many years of experience in footwear and accessories, MIGATO Grecious is a natural follow-up to our collections. We are very proud and happy that it became a reality this year and that it allows us to highlight our creativity and the capabilities of Greek shoemakers”.
