A new Vans collection in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum, is expected to drop soon, on August 3. The Van Gogh Museum, has teamed up with the skate brand Vans for a historic release. Four of Van Gogh’s paintings have been used for this collaboration, in an exclusive collection that takes Van Gogh’s art, “off the wall”. The selected paintings are: Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, Skull, Almond Blossom and his self-portrait, which were printed over t-shirts, bomber jackets, hoodies, and hats. Sunflower has been used on the Authentic style, and also on a t-shirt, and a hoodie, while Almond Blossom was digitally printed on a bomber, a hat and a backpack. His self-portrait was also printed over the Authentic shoe style, and also on a t-shirt. Some of his artwork was printed on the Old Skool shoe style, such as the Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman, while excerpts from a letter that Van Gogh himself wrote, were printed onto the Classic Slip-on style.

Vans x Marvel superhero collaboration
Vans and Marvel have teamed up to bring out a huge collection of footwear, apparel and accessories with their names. Each piece from the collection is dedicated to one of Marvel’s characters. There are pieces that feature Spiderman, The Hulk, Venom, Deadpool, Captain Marvel, and the Avengers. The collection is already out since June 8th, and you can find it in stores, and online. The Old Skool style comes in details that represent each of The Avengers characters. And there’s a kid-version of the collection, featuring Spiderman, on the Sk8-Hi design. There are hats, slip ons, shirts, hoodies, shoes and backpacks, and some of the characters even have their own capsule collections. Karl Lagerfeld is collaborating with Vans
It was recently announced that Karl Lagerfeld is collaborating with footwear brand Vans for a capsule collection of both apparel and footwear, set to launch worldwide on September 7th. The collection will include remakes of six shoes, including the Sk8-Hi laceless platform and Old Skool laceless. The iconinc Vans checkerboard pattern will be mixed with Karl’s initials in quilted leather, and Lagerfeld’s own unique style. The collection will also include black & white T-shirts, bomber jackets and backpacks, with Karl’s image on them. The prices of the collection will range between $40 and $300, with the capsule collection making its debut at the Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin in early September. After September 7, it will be distributed in Karl Lagerfeld boutiques internationally, selected Vans retailers, and online. Karl Lagerfeld teased the collection through his Instagram account, but till now we haven’t seen a sneak peek of the collaboration.
Vans water-repellent shoe collection 2017
Vans has partnered with Swiss textile company, Schoeller, and created a water-repellent collection. It includes seven pieces like the Authentic Lite XL and Mid Skool LX in various unisex shades, each one built with Schoeller’s soft shell fabric that will keep your feet dry no matter what. These news were undoubtedly surprising but we happy that from now on we will be able to wear our favourite Vans’ shoes even on winter. So don’t forget to pick up a pair from March 25!!
The Vans x Toy Story Collection
Vans just announced their upcoming collaboration with Pixar’s Toy Story. The collection will be a nostalgic one -especially for people of my generation- consisting of footwear and accessories. Each product features the characters, all of them, even the minor one’s and in case you can’t wait like me you need to know that the collection will be available from November 29 at Vans stores and online at Vans.com.
The New Collection of Vans is All About Food
Vans just entered the food world with a line of shoes for foodies who love to indulge in midnight munchies. The line is called ”Late Night Pack” and features three classic Vans silhouettes with patterns of popular snack foods like burgers, fries, pizza, tacos, macarons, cupcakes and donuts. The tasty line is available for men, women and kids and they retail from $35 to $70. I really love them, what about you ?
The Vans x Liberty Art Fabrics for spring 2015
Vans collaborated once again with the Liberty Art Fabrics (a huge name in fabrics) and as a result they created a capsule collection, full of colors and flowers, absolutely perfect for this season! The classic Vans in combination with the gorgeous fabrics of the British company created this collection which is already available and totally successful!
