It’s been a long time since we talked about men’s style, and this has to change. So today’s look is dedicated to the men of our lives, and their style. This is kind of a style guide, with the goal of offering some inspiration to men or their girlfriends, friends, mothers, etc. Starting off very simple, with a very casual, laid-back but still sophisticated look. A pair of slim striped shorts is always a good start to an outfit, and this is the protagonist of today’s look. It’s the key piece of the whole outfit, and the only dark one here, since we decided to go with white for the rest of the look. A white T-shirt is all you need to wear on top of it, maybe one with a detail such as the cute pocket the one we picked has, and a nice pair of white sneakers that are very low on the ankle go perfect with this look. If you’re more daring, go for a pair of men’s espadrilles which are the epitome of men’s summer style. Then style the look with a white panama hat, and a silver watch, to finish off the look. You don’t need many accessories. Just wear your hat and enjoy your day!

Look of the day | Red & pink
Red & pink is one of my favorite summer combinations. A few years ago, very few people dared to pair them together, but these days they’re a pretty common combo. My inspiration for this outfit was this beautiful pink Furla bag. It has the prettiest pink shade I’ve ever seen, and it screams summer. Then, I got a look at these slippers, and I thought, they would look perfect together. And here comes the perfect dress to make them look whole. A beautiful and very relaxed red summer dress, with buttons at the front, leaving just a small slither of skin exposed, under that cute little knot in the chest area. Now all you need, is a dark pair of sunglasses. and a nice minimal pair of earrings, and you’re ready to go wherever you like. Day or night. Your choice! What do you think?
Look of the day | Mustard & ketchup
The mustard trend is still going strong into summer, and I can’t stop looking at everything mustard and not feel the need to buy it. I desperately want to buy a pair of mustard culotte pants, and I love how well it looks with bright red accessories. Mustard & ketchup is an amazing combo after all. I imagine wearing my culottes with a nice red bandeau crop top, and a pair of low heeled mules. Big round sunglasses for the hot summer days, hair tied back and a nice red cross body bag on my hands. Taking a walk in the city, or next to the sea somewhere, catching the sunset before drinks with friends, and days that turn to nights, that turn to beautiful sunrises before going to bed on the next day. Oh the carelessness of summer and the feeling of the sun touching your skin. How beautiful it is! Got a bit carried away, sorry, but I couldn’t help it. Back to fashion, and one of the hottest color combinations, pairing 2 of the basic colors in a look that screams summer. And if you’re daring enough, why don’t you try this color combo with your makeup too? It’s gonna look amazing, I promise you! 😉
Look of the day | First summer days
As we’re slowly moving into summer, we can’t stop thinking about beautiful summer dresses, espadrille wedges, and straw hats. These 3 are so characteristic of summer that we’re longing for it to finally arrive. We’re imagining ourselves, in this beautiful polka dotted dress, sipping cocktails next to the sea, while watching the sunset, wearing our straw hat, and our espadrilles. The image wouldn’t be complete, without a pair of unique sunglasses such as those wildfox round ones, and the addition of a pop of color, delivered by this beautiful red cross body bag with red details. All very inexpensive too. Because style doesn’t have to be expensive to look amazing, and we need those money to buy even more beautiful summer dresses for this season. Look of the day | Black & Red
Black and red is a timeless combination that can be worn both in winter and in summer. It’s actually one of my favorite combos to wear, because it’s such a classic; you can’t go wrong with these two colors. When I wear black and red together, I always go for a red lip as well. It makes the look so much better, and it brings it all together. Today’s look is based on a very simple and casual off-the shoulder black dress, which, paired with a nice pair of t-strap cat ballerinas it has a more Parisian vibe to it. Especially if you add a nice cross-body red bag, like this one I’m showing here by Furla. It might be the most expensive option of everything I’m showing you today, but bags are “investment” pieces, and if you take good care of them, you can hold them for years and years, and maybe pass them on to your daughter or granddaughter some day. Who knows? Finish off the look with a skinny red leather belt and a minimal 3-tier long necklace for an A+ outfit of the day! Perfect for the morning, the afternoon or the night out! 😉
Look of the day | Striped culotte jumpsuit
Sometimes, I’m taking inspiration out of my own outfits and taste, to create the look of the day here, and this time, I got inspired by a pair of culottes I recently bought. Culottes can look amazing if they’re worn the right way, and culotte jumpsuits are very summery, and perfect for the hot weather. Today’s look is almost total white, but not quite. The key piece of this look is of course this striped culotte jumpsuit with the spaghetti straps, that cuts a little bit under the knees. You can pair it with strappy white high heeled sandals, or a pair or mules, if the jumpsuit is too long. If you’re not a fan of heels, you can always wear it with a nice pair of espadrilles, slipons, or espadrille slippers, which are all really good options, and widely available this season. For the bag, I’d either go with a small black & white backpack, or a small cross-body bag. White looks amazing with silver jewelry. A nice skinny cuff bracelet, and long silver earrings are all the jewelry you need in summer. And an updo is recommended, to fight the heat. You can either braid your hair a bit, to give your hairstyle a bit more texture. What do you say?
Look of the day | Cropped off the shoulder top
The look of the day, might be very light and simple today, but it combines 2 major trends: cropped off-the-shoulder tops and gingham. I love them both, and I wanted to create a nice summer look that would be easy to wear from day to night. So I paired up the cropped top with high-waisted gingham shorts, and I added some color with the bag and the flat sandals. This look can be your best choice both for staying in the city during the summer, and exploring the narrow streets of little islands, or go sightseeing in other cities/countries. It’s light, comfortable and very stylish, and it’s our suggestion for this week. Whatever you’re planning to do, we really hope you have an amazing time while doing it. 🙂

White has always been the color of summer! Of course it’s a color than can be worn all year long, but it’s very popular during this season.
