Look of the day | Τhe blazer dress

One of the latest trends I’m really fond of, is the blazer dress. Look at how sophisticated and at the same time how sexy it looks just by itself. You don’t have to use too many accessories to make it work. It’s a statement all by itself. But if I had to style it, apart from the obvious, everyday choice, that the ankle boots would be, I’d go for a pair of black over-the-knee high heeled sock boots. Preferably with a thick heel, not to make the outfit too sexy that it would look cheap. Add a nice leather-like cross body bag, and a nice pair of long earrings, or even a watch or a cuff bracelet and you’re ready. If you’re fancier, you could also add a baker boy hat, that’s also very much still in trend. How would you wear your blazer dress? Let us know!

Look of the day | Wedding Guest

Wedding season is not over. Especially in Greece, since summer is far from over, and everyone is back to their cities from their summer vacations, so weddings are in a full mode. So today’s recommendation will be about attending a wedding, as a guest. You’re not supposed to wear white on a wedding, but what about a nice floral dress, in white as the basic color. I think the floral print takes the “rule” out, and makes it ok to do so. Combine it with a floral bag in a similar print to take the looks away from white even more. For shoes though, I’d definitely go with white, since it’s the most suitable solution, and you don’t want to overdo it with all these prints. Choose a pair of long earrings, a silver cuff bracelet, or both, and you’re covered on the jewelry department. A nice updo, is the best hairstyle for this season, since it’s still super hot, but it can be windy from time to time. Choose a nice red lipstick to finish off your look, and go enjoy the wedding.

Look of the day | Μen’s Summer Style

It’s been a long time since we talked about men’s style, and this has to change. So today’s look is dedicated to the men of our lives, and their style. This is kind of a style guide, with the goal of offering some inspiration to men or their girlfriends, friends, mothers, etc. Starting off very simple, with a very casual, laid-back but still sophisticated look. A pair of slim striped shorts is always a good start to an outfit, and this is the protagonist of today’s look. It’s the key piece of the whole outfit, and the only dark one here, since we decided to go with white for the rest of the look. A white T-shirt is all you need to wear on top of it, maybe one with a detail such as the cute pocket the one we picked has, and a nice pair of white sneakers that are very low on the ankle go perfect with this look. If you’re more daring, go for a pair of men’s espadrilles which are the epitome of men’s summer style. Then style the look with a white panama hat, and a silver watch, to finish off the look. You don’t need many accessories. Just wear your hat and enjoy your day!

Look of the day | Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is approaching fast (it’s this Sunday for Catholics, and the next Sunday – the 8th – for Orthodox) and we’re here to give you an idea on what you can wear on Easter Sunday, in case you’re wondering. Of course you can wear anything you like, from casual to formal, depending on the occasion, but this is our suggestion. Since we’re heading into the heart of spring, why not bring it closer, with a beautiful and ethereal midi flower print slip dress? Or any flower print dress for that matter, sleeveless or not. If you like the slip dress option however, but it’s still too cold in your country to wear it by itself, you can layer it with a t-shirt, or even a fitted long-sleeved top, in black or white. Either way, you will still need an outerwear. A black leather biker jacket is a great and relaxed option for the day, and the contrast with the slip dress will be amazing. Layer some necklaces for the needed bling bling of the day. If you’re comfortable in heels, we’d suggest you wear a nice pair of strappy sandals (with a thick heel) for the day. If not, you can wear a nice pair of sneakers, black or white preferably. Last but not least, a dark green bag will add a pop of color to the whole look, making it even more spring-appropriate. Look of the day | Sock Boots

Do you remember sock boots? They were very popular at the early 00s, and this year, they’re having a comeback. We’ll talk about this trend in a future post soon (stay tuned), but we wanted to incorporate that trend in today’s look. We love sock boots that are pointy and high heeled, so we picked a pair that has all these elements, but it also has a very interesting detailing: lazer cuts. Since these are ankle boots, you should combine them with a mini dress to make your legs look longer. We picked a grey checked mini dress with ruffles and uneven front, because checked prints and ruffles are also a huge trend right now. Since the print and the lazer cut of the booties are both very bold, pick a nice discreet layered necklace in gold to add on top of it. Now finish off your look with a black leather cross body bag, with gold details and chain, and with a nice fitted black leather biker jacket, to make the look more edgy. The sock boots will look amazing with the biker jacket and the bag, and will add a rock note to your look, while the mini dress will make your look more feminine and sexy. Leave your hair down for a more relaxed look and rock your outfit with confidence.
