Kendall Jenner is the new Adidas ambassador, and she’s the face of new Arkyn sneakers campaign. The campaign was shot in Kendall’s apartment in Soho, New York, giving us a small glimpse of her house, and most importantly her walk-in closet. The campaign was shot by photographer Renell Medrano, and it was supposed to show “the talent’s real living and working spaces, to emphasize the true, personal connection, allowing the photographer to capture [Kendall] in the most natural manner possible.” The new Arkyn sneaker features a mesh upper with details of the brand’s classic three stripe. The sneaker is sock-like and has a minimalist lacing system. Its retail price will be $115, and it will be officially released on April 5. Hello Kitty x Puma collaboration
Hello Kitty has collaborated with the athletic wear brand, Puma, for Puma’s suede sneaker 50th anniversary. The suede sneaker is red and white, and has a Hello Kitty pattern and bows on the sides. The style also has red laces to go with the sneaker, and it’s perfect for all your casual appearances. As part of the Hello Kitty x Puma collaboration, there are also several apparel pieces being released. Puma says the collection is perfect for fans of all ages, and more specifically: “Hello Kitty is for fans of all ages, making her the perfect addition to the Suede’s 50th Anniversary. Everything about the collection, from the red bow-toms to her milk bottle icon, pays homage to Hello Kitty, the little girl from London who loves fresh-baked cookies and Mama’s apple pie. Bold colors, cheeky graphics and fun, intricate details make this offering uniquely endearing.” The collection will be available as of February 8th, so stay tuned for the release if you want to buy a piece for yourself or your loved ones.
Νew Basket Heart Patent colors by Puma
Puma has just released two more colors to be added to their Basket Heart Patent sneakers collection. The two patent sneakers, now come in pink and grey, or ‘Peach Beige’ and ‘Rock Ridge’ as their names given by the brand are. Each pair features a patent leather upper with a lacquered finish, white midsole and gold branding. For the laces, you can either go for tonal satin or plain nylon ribbon ones, so you can have the perfect bow on your sneakers. The satin ones will definitely make the “Peach Beige” ones to look a lot like ballet flats, something I personally love. However, the plain ones will definitely be more practical. Cara Delevingne stars in the new Puma Do You campaign
Puma turned to Cara Delevingne for the second time, to front their ad campaign. Puma’s new Do You campaign, aims to inspire confidence and encourage women to be unapologetic about who they are. Cara has played a part in Puma’s Do You documentary series earlier this year, helping disadvantaged women, such as refugees in Uganda, vocalize their stories to incite change. This year’s concept focuses on the idea that every woman should be their own muse. Puma hopes that, with their new range of products, women will feel free to be fiercer than ever. ASICS Tiger x Disney | Snow White release
Asics Tiger has teamed up with Disney, to release a special edition sneaker, to honor the 80th anniversary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The shoe, called ‘Snow White’ GEL-Lyte comes in maroon hues, velvet overlays on the upper part, and a huge red velvet bow on top of the laces. It also features an apple print sockliner and we just love it! A black crown-topped model, is also expected to be released soon, to represent the Evil Queen, as well as some other designs that are going to be dedicated to the dwarves. “The Seven Dwarfs” is the first GEL-Lyte for kids and has individual material combinations, fleece lining, black laces, and prints inspired by Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. Sophia Webster x Puma collaboration
A couple of months ago, Sophia Webster collaborated with Puma to release a dance inspired fall/winter collection. Now the collaboration continues with another release: a pastel colored collection, with iridescent foils and a pop of bold color here and there. The collection is called Puma x Sophia Webster Q4, and you can find it online and in stores, since October 21st. The collection, among others includes: a pastel colored leather varsity jacket, with metallic embroidered graphics and badges, and the White Pearl trainers with rainbow cage detailing. Some of the collection’s items have already been sold out, but you can still find some new and older pieces from their collaboration on puma.com. The prices range from $40 for a hat, to $700 for the leather varsity jacket which was our favorite one from this collection. But the rainbow sneakers are also very cute. What do you guys think? New adidas sneakers made from ocean waste
As part of its long-standing collaboration with environmental initiative Parley for the Oceans, Adidas has updated one of its classic shoes from the 90s and made it eco-friendly. The initiative aims to stop plastic that’s entering the ocean, and retrieves waste from beaches and coastal communities in the Maldives. The waste products are then turned into yarn and get knitted to construct the shoe’s upper. The updated sneaker which was first designed in the 90s, now features a two-tone upper, which has been knitted from yarns made out of up-cycled plastic, creating a wave-patterned stitching and it’s available in two color combinations: dark navy & blue, and white & turquoise. Its molded heel counter is made from recycled plastic, while the outsole is made from recycled rubber. The Parley EQT is the latest in a series of products to come out of the longstanding collaboration between Adidas and Parley for the Oceans. The first Parley Ocean Plastic trainers were presented during an event at the United Nations headquarters in New York in July 2015, when the shoe was still a prototype. Sarah Jessica Parker releases the first sneakers of her collection
Sarah Jessica Parker recently announced the new style of her shoe collection which is a T-strap flat, called Meteor. Even though they call it a sneaker, its style is not exactly sporty, but it’s comfortable enough to wear from day to night. It’s available in various colors and styles, like denim, or the sparkly one she’s wearing, which is expected to sell out quickly. Something tells us it’s not going to be the only sneaker style shoes we’ll be seeing from SJP.
