As I am always trying new products and I love glosses, I couldn’t help but buying this product. I don’t believe in lip plumpers; I bought it because it is from a brand I love and it says it acts like a balm, and I love lip balms. I wear them alone many times, acting like a lip gloss or lipstick. So, I was eager to try it. I thought it would be good for sensitive skin lips.
I had to write such a title – Dior nail polish is simply phenomenal! For years I have worn transparent nail polishes because 1) I do like them; 2) well, no colored nail polished lasted more than 2 days on my nails, without chipping very fast. Do believe me, I have tried many brands, even foreign ones, and nothing really helped. The closest I got to, was the amazing GT cosmetics one by Tommy G from Greece. It’s really good!
I confess I – many times – am lazy to take makeup off, but I have sensitive skin and I have to be more attentive. As sleepy as I can be, it’s highly recommended to make an effort and remove makeup. When I wear just eyeliner and concealer and am very sleepy, I confess – again – that I don’t mind it very much. I’m wrong, I know. But when I wear foundation I normally clean my skin before going to bed.
Having written that, I can say that an alternative to soap and water or cleansing foam is Sisley-Paris cleansing milk with sage. You’ll be surprised, as much as I was!
I’m always looking for newly released makeup products and Chanel is one of my favorite brands. As I love everything that has “illuminator” on the label, I was very excited about buying Le Blanc de Chanel – this is the way it refers to itself. It has name and surname, one more reason to think it would be a fantastic product.
Some day while walking right in front of the gorgeous big Sephora store on Champs–Elysées in Paris I told myself “no, please don’t enter there!” You know, I meant not to surrender to one more makeup shopping afternoon, but I can never resist Sephora – can you?
I have a “foundation obsession”! Actually I can say I’m obsessed with every new release – serums, moisturizers, lip glosses… and, as I said, foundations.
These are some of my favorite ones, though I’m always trying new foundations. I’ll certainly write about other ones here, but now it’s about these three products: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat, Dior Forever Flawless Perfection and Chanel PERFECTION LUMIÈRE.
After a certain age it’s good to start taking care of the first aging signs. Well, I do that since I was a teenager – you can say I’m obsessed with that and maybe I am, but I think it’s good to protect your skin at any age, actually.
I know many people love products that leave a matte velvety finish to the skin – but I’m the contrary 🙂 I’m always trying to find a good illuminizer, either a powder one or a cream. I like a dewy effect, with a subtle glow.
