Alicia Vikander stars in the new Louis Vuitton ad campaign. Alicia posed in front of the photo lens of Patrick Demarchelier, with the endless blue of the sea and tha sky in the background in photos that remind me of Greece. The shooting of the campaign took place in the exotic Ibiza, Spain, and it follows the Cruise collection style. Clothes, bikinis, scarves, hats, and of course beautiful Louis Vuitton bags star in the campaign alongside Alicia Vikander. Among the bags, there’s the beautiful Capucine, but also the new Twist which was designed by Nicholas Ghesquière. Alicia with her natural beauty and stunning body, courtesy of her upcoming Tomb Raider movie is the right muse for the cruise collection of LV. Along with the photos of the campaign, which you can see below, there’s also a video which was released for the collection. Gucci’s Cruise 2018 campaign is fronted by Italian locals
The newest Gucci Cruise 2018 is called The Roman Rhapsody, and it features portraits of real people (non-models) in apartments and and neighborhood parks throughout Rome. That’s where the campaign takes its name from. It features people that are not models in real life, such as a Gucci Rome shop assistant, the owner of one of Rome’s best-known Chinese restaurants, an advertising executive, Italian actress Miriam Leone, and an Italian singer-songwriter. The collection is shot by the iconic British photographer Mick Rock. See the whole campaign here.
Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018
Louis Vuitton’s Cruise collection for 2018 was magnificent. It took place in the Miho Museum outside Kyoto in Japan.
Christian Dior Cruise 2018 collection
A few days ago the House of Dior presented their Cruise 2018 collection which took place at the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve in Calabassas, California. Chiuri was clearly inspired by the desert landscape and natural elements of California, and that’s why she chose this location for the show. The collection included references to Palaeolithic cave paintings, Georgia O’Keeffe and feminist Vicki Noble, through dresses, coats, hats, and a whole lot more. Charlize Theron, Demi Moore and Rihanna, were among the celebrities who attended the show. Two hot air balloons with the words “Dior Sauvage” were floating in the background, referencing the famous Dior perfume Eau Sauvage. The collection was a hit, and the show one that will be discussed for a long time. Not bad for Chiuri’s first Cruise collection with Dior. Check out the pictures for more.
