You know Cara, of course you do. Well Cara is almost everywhere and this time it’s all about her collaboration with Mulberry. She designed a 16-pieces collection, including wallets, purses, i-pad sleeves, phone covers, pouches and passport holders. The collection is all about camouflage print (Cara loves it!) and some original Mulberry air.
Greek designer Mary Katrantzou and her vibrant colors and prints are now a collection for Adidas and it will be in stores on November 15th. Sneakers, neoprene tops, jackets, body-tight dresses with the designer’s signature – a kaleidoscope of colors, even a bit psychedelic, we can say! The pictures speak for themselves, so check them out and dive into Mary’s colorful design!
Olympia Le-Tan designs amazing embroidered clutches, that recreate covers of books. They have been spotted on red carpets through Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman and Tilda Swinton, among others. She is also a designer of really fabulous and unexpected pieces of clothing. The clutches and bags, though, are really outstanding accessories – and also high quality profile. They are intricately handcrafted in France from red cotton-canvas with a high-shine gold frame, according to Net-a-porter. They are full lined in Liberty-print poplin and really handy is the internal patch pocket to hold cards. Some of the clutches that can be found on the sites are exclusive to each of the stores, as you can see below. They are also limited to only a few editions, like The Lure of Long Beach, for example, a rare volume from 1936 that traces the history of the American island.
Since the announcement of H&M that the designer Alexander Wang was going to be their new collaborator, everyone has been waiting to see his collection. You either love or hate his designs. He’s known for his unique minimalistic approach to fashion, and he has many fans around the world. His new (and more affordable) collection* in collaboration with H&M was presented last Thursday in New York, in a huge stadium that was turned into a fashion arena for the runway show.
Personally, I didn’t like many pieces from this, rather sporty, collection, because they’re not my style, but there were a few, that I would gladly wear. However, I’m not one of those people who would stand in line for hours, or fight the crowds for one of his designs. Let’s see some pieces from his collaboration with H&M through runway pics, and collages I created.
This October, Calvin Klein released a new collection of its make-up series, called ck one color “The nude collection”. Its philosophy is about minimal, but still sexy and bright, makeup looks, that can be accomplished with the help of the warm and sensual shades of their nude collection. The collection includes powder eye-shadows, lipsticks, long wear and shine nail polishes and of course the all day perfection face makeup.
David Beckham continues his collaboration with H&M for Fall 2014 as he designs pajamas, t-shirts, heavy-knit cotton socks, beanies and sweatpants for his new collection, to be added with the classic pieces of his previous ones. David is once again the model of his Bodywear Lookbook, in B&W and honestly we can’t think of anyone better to advertise his products. The collection has already hit the stores since August 21st.
