This is what the creators of Joint London thought too and invited many designers to give him a new and fresh look! The news burst like a bomb! From January 2015 Rihanna will be the new creative director of the women’s sports lines and of course the global ambassador of the well-known sports comany Puma.
The gorgeous blonde actress Kate Bosworth is now a shoe designer too! After multiple collaborations with Topshop it was about time and we are more than happy with the result! Matisse footwear will launch her 20-pair capsule collection (including boots, mules and sandals) in March 2015 and it will retail between 300$ to 500$. The collection will be available in Nordstrom and other selected retailers.
It certainly has been a busy year for Victoria Beckham, with the opening of her flagship store in London, winning the “Brand of the Year” award at the British Fashion Awards, and appearing on yet another British Vogue cover. Now she’s collaborating with the British brand, Nails Inc to bring out 2 nail polish shades (a nude one called Bamboo White, and an orangey called Judo Red) which are inspired by the designer’s Victoria Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer 2015 line, which has yet to be revealed. The packaging of the nail polishes is very minimalistic, typical to the style of Victoria: matte black and white respectively, with transparent glass sides to reveal the polish within.
Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s sister) cooperated with PUMA again by redesigning and giving a lot of colour to the classic PUMA suede and the XT2 model. The three-piece collection’s name is ”Wild Wonder” and you can shop it online at Opening Ceremony and find it at selected retailers around the world. There will also be a follow up to this collection featuring two more designs, available on December 13th.
MAC, a worldwide phenomenon in cosmetics, has officially announced its collaboration with the Italian designer Giambattista Valli, for a capsule collection of lipsticks. The shades of the lipsticks will be in colors that Giambattista uses in his collections such as red, pink, mandarin and peony. “I created this collection for the woman with a personality, a woman who lives her life and isn’t afraid to wear a color and isn’t afraid to be kissed” says the designer himself. As we’re known for our obsession with fashion and beauty, the SB Team can’t wait till the official release of this collection. For all of you who want to make the collection yours, wait until September of 2015.
Kim Kardashian’s sister and up and coming supermodel, Kendall Jenner, was the talk of every social media these days, after the announcement that she’s the official face of Estee Lauder. The famous model learned about the collaboration at the backstage of Paris Fashion Week and seems that now was the right time to officially announce it to her fans. The giant beauty company characterized Kendall as a new star with a social media affect. The whole world of fashion and beauty is curious about the evolution of this collaboration!! She designed a 16-pieces collection, including wallets, purses, i-pad sleeves, phone covers, pouches and passport holders. The collection is all about camouflage print (Cara loves it!) and some original Mulberry air.
Greek designer Mary Katrantzou and her vibrant colors and prints are now a collection for Adidas and it will be in stores on November 15th. The most famous twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who has had huge success as fashion designers with their well-known brands, The Row & Elizabeth and James, have now collaborated with Style Mint to launch a new jewelry and accessories capsule collection, called AMKxSM. This new collection is quite affordable, compared to their other ones, with their prices ranging between 29.99$ and 39.99$. Their jewelry line has a minimalistic design, inspired by constellations, and they can be worn by their own, or layered together. The capsule collection was launched on November 1st.
