Benefit Cosmetics’ Ka-Brow is a brow cream/gel product with color (pomade) that comes in 6 shades. It comes in this beautiful packaging that’s also very practical, because it includes an angled flat brush on top, which is ideal for applying the pomade to your brows. It’s very easy to use, and even an amateur (like me!) can do it. You can use it to build either a natural or a more dramatic look to your brows, depending on your needs and personal preference. Mine is in the shade no. 3, which is perfect for my colors. So far I really love this product, and I use it everyday to shape my brows and make them look fuller. However, I’ve heard from girls who’ve bought it in the past that it dries quite quickly. I haven’t had a problem with that so far, but it’s something to look after. Make sure to keep the lid tightly closed, and don’t let it without a lid for a long time, because the oxygen might make it dry faster. Other than that, which again I hadn’t have a personal experience with, it’s an amazing product, which I really recommend.

Benefit Cosmetics’ Gimme Brow is back
As some of you might remember, last year, one of Benefit Cosmetics’ most popular brow products, Gimme Brow, was re-called, because it didn’t meet the company’s standards, as it was announced. For Gimme Brow lovers, that was something tragic, because that little brow mascara made the eyebrows look natural yet amazing. After not being re-released for several months afterwards, many might have thought that the product was tragically discontinued. That was not the case though. Benefit Cosmetics announced that they’ll be re-releasing the new Gimme Brow+ product, with a new and improved formula, that will make your brows look even better. According to Benefit, the formula of the product was slightly modified to “include updated ingredients and to meet the latest standards set by Benefit’s parent company, LVMH”. Its box also had a slight update, and it’s now pink instead of blue that it initially was. The + sign was included to show that there’s a new formula on the product, and that it adds volume. Benefit Cosmetics’ Gimme Brow + is expected to be released everywhere in the world, today, Tuesday March 13th.

I am a bit skeptical about some products, primers, for example. Somehow I find that the cosmetic industry tries to create new products, just because of the need of permanent innovation, to grab consumer’s attention. And com’on, we know that most of us would be curious and would like to try new things – so the industry keeps on doing it, launching products that are not necessary, but they know they will make profit.
This is not the case of POREfessional, from Benefit Cosmetics! It works!
