Good news! There’s a Puma x Barbie collection coming up next fall, and it’s going to include apparel too. After Barbie’s collaboration with brands such as Sephora (in March), Missguided (in April), and a resort collaboration with Show me your Mumu, it’s time for the brand to move on to a collaboration with a streetwear brand like Puma.
It was recently announced that Karl Lagerfeld is collaborating with footwear brand Vans for a capsule collection of both apparel and footwear, set to launch worldwide on September 7th. The collection will include remakes of six shoes, including the Sk8-Hi laceless platform and Old Skool laceless. The iconinc Vans checkerboard pattern will be mixed with Karl’s initials in quilted leather, and Lagerfeld’s own unique style. The collection will also include black & white T-shirts, bomber jackets and backpacks, with Karl’s image on them. The prices of the collection will range between $40 and $300, with the capsule collection making its debut at the Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin in early September. After September 7, it will be distributed in Karl Lagerfeld boutiques internationally, selected Vans retailers, and online. Karl Lagerfeld teased the collection through his Instagram account, but till now we haven’t seen a sneak peek of the collaboration.
Rita Ora and Adidas Originals collaborate again for 2 new collections of footwear and apparel called “Mystic Moon” and “Space Shifter” for this Fall/Winter 2015-2016. The collections consist of grey and red tones, and include T-shirts, jackets, shorts, jumpsuits, sneakers, slip-ons, high-top sneakers, and snap-back hats.
