We might be a bit late to this “announcement” (we blame it all on Fashion Week Month which took most of our time), but now that the dust has settled and all the news and photos are out, we can finally write our own article about it. Victoria Beckham, after being a fashion designer for 6 years now, finally opened up her own store a couple of weeks ago at 36 Dover Street, London W1. The store is 6,000sq ft and an architectural masterpiece of minimalism.

Victoria Beckham Charity Sale
A few days ago, it was announced that Victoria Beckham, former Spice girl and now fashion designer and style icon, is partnering with one of the biggest online retail sites, The Outnet, to sell over 600 pieces of her closet, for the charity Mothers2Mothers. M2M is a charity for HIV-positive mothers, and all the funds raised will help them, and their children. The pieces that are going to be sold, are dated from her days as Posh Spice, till the present day, and among them, there will be some of the most iconic pieces of her closet.
David Beckham launches a grooming brand “House 99”
David Beckham just announced that he is launching a grooming brand called House 99 in partnership with L’Oréal. “For me, grooming is not only about how you look, but how you feel. It’s about being comfortable, trying new things and shaping your next look,” Beckham said in his official announcement. He chose the number “99”, as it marks the year in which he married Victoria, their son Brooklyn was born, and Manchester United won the treble.
Brooklyn Beckham lands his first fashion campaign
It seems that after Romeo Beckham, having taken his first steps in modeling, it’s time for Brooklyn Beckham to also make his debut in fashion. 15year-old Brooklyn, is the 4th member of his family interested in making a career in fashion, after his designer mommy Victoria, his ex-footballer daddy David (who’s also posed for many brands, and collaborated with many others), and younger brother Romeo. Brooklyn has landed his first fashion campaign as the model for the spring/summer 2015 ads of the Polish brand Reserved. He’s the face of a separate line called “Volcano Explosion” which was designed for people with active lifestyle and love for sports, combining sportswear and fashion. The campaign was shot by Kacper Kasprzyk in London and the full campaign is expected to launch in the spring. Take a look at some of the campaign photos along with some backstage ones.
Romeo Beckham stars in Burberry’s festive campaign
Romeo Beckham, the 12-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is starring in Burberry’s first global festive campaign. It isn’t the first time that Romeo is working for Burberry; in fact back in 2013, he debuted his modeling career as he posed for Burberry’s Spring/Summer print campaign alongside Cara Delevingne. This time he’s appearing in the brand’s festive ad campaign, where he plays cupid who delivers a gift to a young couple. The 4-minute-film is called From London with Love, and it’s inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals. It tells the tale of a young couple falling in love, against a theatrical backdrop of London. The main cast is surrounded by 50 dancers; dancing to a song by British songwriter Ed Harcourt titled “The Way That I Live”. Make sure to watch the video campaign at the end of this post.
Gigi Hadid on the cover of Vogue with Olympic decathlete Ashton Eaton
Gigi Hadid, perhaps the most popular model of the last couple of years, has landed her very first American Vogue cover, next to Olympic decathelete Aston Eaton. Gigi is really excited for this cover, saying “it’s an honor” to be on the cover of American Vogue’s August Issue. She was photographed by Mario Testino, in gorgeous dresses by Versace, Pringle of Scotland and Victoria Beckham among others, combined with stiletto sneakers from Rihanna’s Fenty X Puma shoe line. Everyone was more than impressed with her athletic moves, saying she’s a natural, while she stated that “it’s an ultimate dream come true” to be on the cover of American Vogue.

The first day of Cannes Film Festival is finally here and many celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Naomi Watts and Kirsten Dunst didn’t miss a chance to shine on the red carpet, wearing designers’ gowns. LFW Fall 2016 Ready-to-wear | Our favorites
London Fashion Week is already over, and I can’t say I was impressed by most presentations. I think that LFW is my least favorite of all. I did find some favorites though, and here’s what I noticed about the whole LFW and what I liked about these particular collections. Most collections were way over-the-top, with too much layering, prints, and presentations that, in my opinion, took away from the designs. The ones I liked, were more minimal, and used beautiful colors (some of the times pastels too), mesh or lace. My hands down favorites were David Koma, Eudon Choi, Jasper Conran, and Xiao Li. NYFW Fall 2016 Ready-to-wear | Our favorites
Well, the fashion month has already started, and NYFW has come to an end. Naturally we wanted to write a full report on it, and after spending hours looking at all the shows, and picking out the good from the bad, I’ve came up with 25(!) favorite collections from this season. I was glad to see that many designers incorporated spring into their fall collections, using bold and pastel colors on chunky knits, and coats. Gray and hats are still trends that are going strong to the next seasons as well, and that’s also something which find me in agreement, since I’m a fan of those trends. My usual favorites Victoria Beckham and Christian Siriano disappointed me a bit for this season, but I there were some other brands whose collections I really fancied, such as: Banana Republic, Bibhu Mohapatra, Escada, J.Crew, Kate Spade New York, Lela Rose and Polo Ralph Lauren. All in all it was a good Fashion Week, with the good and the bad. You can see all the shows here, and pick out your favorites!

We have seen many variations of Bobs over the years – the Bob itself, then the one created by Victoria Beckham – the Pob, and recently, the Lob, that stands for Long Bob. Now we have a new one – the Wob, it means, wavy bob. Very practical and beautiful – that is the hairstyle of summer, but can be easily worn throughout the year, as well.
