I’m sure you have already noticed that checked & plaid prints are having a comeback this season, and it’s a huge trend. Starting with the all time classic blazer, which is the perfect outerwear for fall season, and looks absolutely amazing “dressed” in plaid. Followed by other kinds of outerwear, like coats, or more athletic jackets like the one in the pic above, and finished off with nice skirts, and pants. If you’re bold enough and fashion forward, you can wear a total plaid look, or even add some color to your plaids. Since most women aren’t comfortable enough to wear such a bold print in different colors, we decided to play it safe today, and only share with you more discreet choices, playing with different hues of grey and black.

You must have noticed by now, that mustard yellow is almost everywhere this season. It’s a huge trend that can be worn in clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories. But we realize that most women are afraid to wear such a bold color in winter, or they might think that mustard yellow is not for them. As you can see by these photos, the color goes perfectly well, with every skin tone, or hair color, and being a redhead myself, I can attest to that; it looks amazing on. You just have to find the right hue that works best for you and your skin tone or hair color. So we’ve picked out a dozen of products to show you exactly that…that there are different hues to this trend, and you can find the one that looks best on you, and that there are many options out there in clothes. The safest option of course is a simple top or sweater, and they’re the easiest to find right now in the market. But if you want to try something different, go for a dress, a coat/blazer, or a pair of culottes. It looks amazing on biker jackets too. You can pair mustard yellow with many colors such as black, tan, brown, blue, green, burgundy etc. So there’s no need to be afraid, if you want to add it to your wardrobe. One of the biggest trends of this season, is definitely the pearls trend. I’m sure you’ve already seen it around over the past few weeks, if you’ve visited any stores, or did some online shopping. Pearls are a “huge trend” that will be everywhere this fall/winter. So far, we’ve seen it on sweaters, jeans, skirts, pants, blouses, booties etc. They’re so elegant and bring out something really chic, even Parisian, so most women already love it and are searching to find a few nice pieces to add to their wardrobe. Pool floaties are everywhere this summer. The trend actually started last summer, but this year, there’s a serious craze about these floats. The most popular of all, being of course, the pink flamingo. There’s also the rose gold version of that, or the white swan, and then of course we have the food ones, like watermelons, slices of pizza, pineapples and many more. If you want to buy one there are many available options online, in many styles and colors for different budgets as well. They’re perfect for the pool, if you want to just let go and relax, while reading a book, or drinking a cold beverage or cocktail, while enjoying your sunbathing. Slides trend | Shopping Guide
Slides are a trend that you either love of hate. I’m mostly on the latter side, especially when it comes to pool slides being worn as shoes. I can’t stand seeing that. But we don’t all share the same taste in fashion and style, and that’s okay. As a fashion editor I must report all trends, wether I personally like them or not. And slides is one of those. Slides come in various shapes and styles as you can see from the photo above. Pool slides are the classic plastic ones, but they also come in nice leather variations with embellishments, such as like flowers, bows, knots, pom poms which make them look cuter. They are perfect for wandering around the narrow streets of the Greek islands, and can be worn with nice flowy dresses, shorts, or culottes. Combine them with small bags, or cross body ones for an even prettier look.
