Since my very first articles, I told you that he is my favorite designer. And how could he not be with all these unique creations that are more impressive every time!! This time, I think that he far exceeded the classic line that he, and also many other designers, were following. After such a long intro I think it’s time to explain what’s different with Michael Kors’ winter collection this year, regarding watches. But of course the introduction of a smartwatch, an accessory that has invaded our lives over the past few years. But he is presenting them to us in a completely different way than we are used to. Much more impressive and much more beautiful, in many colors, such as gold, silver and rose gold, all at very affordable prices. Enjoy my new obsession!

Another trend straight from the ‘90s that is having a comeback, like the chocker necklaces we discussed on the previous post, is the slip dress over a T-shirt one. It started re-appearing during the spring season, but it’s definitely going strong into fall, with more and more women choosing it for their everyday life. It’s better paired with sneakers or flats in general, since the T-shirt is meant to dress down your favorite slip dress making it more of a casual attire. But it can definitely be paired with booties and heels as the Jenner/Kardashian clan has demonstrated many times over the past few months. Georg Jensen x Zaha Hadid jewelry collection

In one of her last completed projects, before she passed away at age 65, the famous architect and designer Zaha Hadid collaborated with Danish design house, Georg Jensen on a collection of sculptural, sensually expressive rings and cuff bangles. The collection is called Lamellae and it’s an eight-piece collection that includes five rings and three cuff bangles. Each is created in sterling silver, black rhodium plated set with black diamonds, and now in gold and it was engineered and refined using 3-dimensional design and manufacturing processes. Willow, who was handpicked by Karl Lagerfeld himself for the campaign, still can’t believe that she’s been chosen as a Chanel ambassador. “Being a young African-American woman with dreads, it blows my mind that I’m a Chanel ambassador. Like, how am I a Chanel ambassador?”. After a glimpse at the photos a couple of months back, the whole ad campaign was finally released. Maybe I’ve missed a few of our weekly appointments but now I’m back to present to you the best of the best of the market! What is the best choice to begin with?? Shoes of course!! Maybe it’s because our vacations are over, or maybe because we are back to our routine, but when I hear autumn, one brand comes to mind: “UGG”!!! Call me hasty, call me crazy but it was the first thing that came to my mind! What if many people laugh at these boots, UGG made huge sales with a wide variety of colors and designs capable to satisfy even the most demanding customers. UGG has a lot of partnerships with other companies such as Swarovski and Disney, and the result was just amazing!! This year, they have renewed and upgraded the external cover of their boots, making it more durable against the water, almost waterproof! I always present to you products that I have personally tried, and I can tell you that comfort and warmth is incomparable in those shoes and if you try them, you are not gonna change them again! Take a look and you’ll know what I mean!!

Mattel created a Chiara Ferragni Barbie doll

Have you heard the news? Mattel created a Chiara Ferragni Barbie doll! Yes, it’s true! Both @barbiestyle and @chiaraferragni Instagram accounts confirmed it! Chiara is the first fashion blogger to become a Barbie doll, but that doesn’t really come as a surprise to the longtime fans of said blogger. Chiara was holding a Barbie doll on her very first post when she started blogging, back in 2009. She also posed as a Barbie Girl, for Grazia Italia, back in September 2014, to promote the (then) upcoming collection of Moschino by Jeremy Scott, which was a collaboration between the brand, and Barbie. The new Chiara Ferragni Barbie doll not only looks like Chiara, but she also follows her style, including shoes & phone case from Chiara’s personal collection. We still haven’t heard if this new doll is going to be for sale in stores, but we’re guessing there are going to be some limited pieces available as part of their collaboration. We’ll keep you posted!
