I was always willing to try Decleor products and the opportunity came when I had my luggage missing by a certain air company – my creams were there. So I had to buy a cream as an urgent measure and Decleor was on the shelf – I gave it a try. And this Decleor Hydra Floral Multi-Protection 24h moisture activator light cream – as written on the product – didn’t disappoint me! Not in the least!
Elemis was on my list of products to buy, to test another famous brand hydration cream. Well, that’s what it promises. The Elemis Hydra-Boost Day Cream says it with “Hydra-Boost”. And does it accomplish it? Totally!
I like Estee Lauder a lot – the perfumes are very feminine, the makeup exquisite – good pigmentation and quality – and this Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair makes justice to everything I like about the brand, it means, quality and delivering what it promises!
Chanel is one of my favorite brands – not only because it’s very good to sensitive skin, like mine, but because of its quality bits, like pigmentation, that really lasts (in the case of lipsticks and foundations, for example). So I decided to buy two blushes from Chanel. One is this, now reviewed, the Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect. I thought the name is “chic”, but honestly, how can you reach a tweed effect on your cheeks? Then it’s not a good effect at all 🙂 Nevertheless, I knew the name was just to make it even more pompous (do we really need more pompous, after reading the name Chanel?) and knew it was to catch consumers. The color seemed to be very good and so, I bought it.
It seems that this is a very well known and appreciated brand, but I will confess – I got to know it through a friend two years ago. I immediately loved the brand – she made me try the cream she was wearing. So when I saw the Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute Serum in a big shop, I immediately wanted it! Funny was that I thought “such a good price” by looking at the shelf and was mistaken – when I went to the teller it was 20 euros more expensive than I thought. But I bought it anyway!
La Praire is very well known and coveted, for the great results on skin. This kind of serum – it has the consistency of a gel and a serum together – La Prairie Extrait of Skin Caviar Firming Complex is excellent, not letting down the brand’s promises!
Penhaligon’s is a traditional English brand, founded in the late 1860s by a Cornish barber – William Penhaligon – who served Queen Victoria. The brand exists since then and has its flagship store in Covent Garden since 1975. The brand sells its traditional scents with formulas that were created by the founder, Mr Penhaligon himself, and the fragrances are a best seller till today. Penhaligon’s has many stores in London, its headquarter, but also abroad like in Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore. The Ellenisia scent was created in 2005, so we can say it’s a traditional one, too.
Not always the best products have to be the most expensive ones. I buy some cheap ones sometimes, when I read some good reviews in magazines or when trying them at the brands’ counters. It happened to the Primers below. Let’s see what to expect from them 🙂
Chanel products, oh, so good! I love them and in 97% of the cases (I do wear a lot of them) I was pretty satisfied with the items. Like now: the Chanel Illusion D’ombre eye shadow, number 83 – color name, Illusoire.
Ortigia is a company that produces soaps, shampoos, perfumes, lotions, as well as candles with lovely scents – so there will be a product that meets your taste, for sure! It was founded in 2006 by Sue Townsend, who also designs the packaging of the products. It’s a luxury brand and it pays attention to keeping its high quality!
