Chanel Spring Summer 2018 fashion show
Chanel’s fashion shows are always a show stopper and this year is no exception. After the space station set up Karl Lagerfeld has another fascinating idea for the runway. The Chanel spring summer 2018 collection was presented on the 3rd of October on Grand Palais for Paris’s Fashion Week. The set up was magnificent. Imagine to attend the saw and see a giant cliff, six waterfall, rocks and trees. The models walked on a raised wooden boardwalk.
Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford, opened the show wearing a crop top, a skirt and a coat. Her look completed with two-toned transparent & white thigh-high boots and a transparent hat. The proud mum of course sat first row to watch her daughter!
The signature tweed was once more the star yet this time there was a twist. Clear plastic ponchos covered some of the clothes. Furthermore some models wore also transparent plastic gloves. The show stole Lagerfeld’s godson, Hudson Kroenigl, who wore a monochromatic tweed jumpsuit paired with white trainers, a blue shoulder bag and a clear plastic baseball cap.
