Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018

Louis Vuitton’s Cruise collection for 2018 was magnificent. It took place in the Miho Museum outside Kyoto in Japan. The models walked on a white carpeted runway through a metal tunnel and went across the bridge. Rila Fukushima a Japanese actress opened the show wearing a patchwork belted jacket. Nicolas Ghesquière said that “I’ve been coming to Japan for more than 20 years for personal and for professional reasons and like everyone, I was always amazed by the contrast between how they preserve the heritage and the history and they celebrate it, and at the same time how much the country is looking forward — it’s very technological and modern.” The collection also payed tribute to Kansaï Yamamoto who provided the House with Japanese style prints and also created a dress for the collection
