Alexander Wang is leaving Balenciaga
It’s official now: after three years at Balenciaga, Alexander Wang is leaving and the Spring 2016 collection that will be shown on October 2nd is the last one that the designer drew for the house.
Wang said that the experience of working for a couture house in Paris was incredible, and that he was honored to work for such a historical brand. Now Alexander Wang wants to take his own brand to a new level of growth.
Isabelle Guichot, president and CEO of Balenciaga, stated that at Balenciaga they are all grateful to Wang’s important contribution to the house. Wang leaves with best wishes and with a friendly tone. Now we are waiting for the announcement… Who will replace Alexander Wang at Balenciaga?
