Nars Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder review
Some weeks ago I read a blog that said wonders about Nars Translucent Crystal Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder. It’s a translucent powder for all skin tones for a matte finish, that reflects light, it said. As I love shimmering particles and illuminizers, I ran to buy it.
Well, it’s good. This setting powder will keep your foundation fresh for a long time, without a trace of color. It is really invisible on your skin and leaves a silky finish. It applies evenly and blends effortlessly on your face.
It is said to have microfine mineral powders with glycerin and antioxidant vitamin E. I don’t know about that, I can’t see any effect from vitamins, but other than that it feels soft and good for the health of the skin, so I suppose. I would say it’s very good for touch-ups, to keep your skin in a matte finish way, so without shining, and it invisibly sets foundation. It’s paraben and fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, a bonus.
It’s very natural on your skin. When you open the container you can see the shimmering particles, but you won’t see it on your skin. Definitely not. So, no, it’s not an illuminizer. Nevertheless, all the good characteristics I stated are great!
But one more thing: it’s not travel-friendly. Really very loose. Better to buy the pressed powder version, then.
