Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition
The late fashion designer Alexander McQueen (1969-2010) has an exhibition of his great work in London, at the Victoria and Albert Museum. It opened in March, so if you are a fan of his work and are in London, please don’t miss the chance of visiting it!
The entrance of the Savage Beauty exhibition shows words by McQueen himself: “London is where I was brought up. It’s where my heart is and where I get my inspiration”. In a tribute to the designer, the first room, called London, presents his first works and then we are led to the Savage Mind, a room dedicated to his tailoring development. There are many other rooms and the apotheosis is called Cabinet of Curiosities. It is a must-go exhibition for any fashion lover, showing the great mind, work and inspiration from McQueen, sometimes in a confusing way, but always outstanding, extraordinarily creative and innovative!
The exhibition is open till Aug 2, 2015.
