Meet the blogger | From An.ni with Love
Anatoli is the 6th member of the Stylishly Beautiful team to give us an interview, and we will soon start interviewing other bloggers, vloggers, and youtubers we love, so stay tuned! For now, let’s get to meet Anatoli and her blog in a better way.
1) Stylishly Beautiful Team (from now on SBT): Tell us a few things about yourself.
Anatoli: Maybe most of you know me as olini1989, but my real name in Anatoli or An.ni as a nickname. The truth is that nobody calls me like this but I use it mostly online. I was born and grew up in Thessaloniki, and I studied mathematics at the Aristotle university of Thessaloniki. Now you may wonder how someone combines maths with beauty/fashion. When you love both equally, you spend your free time between them without letting any of them behind.
2) SBT: How did you decide to create your blog?
Anatoli: Since I was a child, apart from maths I have loved anything girlish. So sharing this love with a big company online, came as a consequence to fill my spare time, while I was at the university. This is how my blog “From An.ni with Love” was created overnight.
3) SBT: What inspired the name of your blog?
Anatoli: It’s really hard for me to find catchy titles, so in the end I choose the most simple ones. You can imagine how difficult it was for me to find the name of my blog. So in the end I decided to name it “From An.ni with Love” because it describes exactly what I feel. From me to you, with love, since everything starts from there.
4) SBT: Which are the 5 key pieces, in your opinion, everyone should have in their closet?
Anatoli: Pieces of clothing which make you feel good every time you desperately look into your wardrobe as you have nothing to wear. A pair of boyfriend jeans is comfortable and can easily be matched all day long, a pair of classic black high heeled pumps, a pair of ankle boots during winter months, a coat in beige, army green, red, deep purple, (any color that will make the difference to a boring total black outfit), and the famous LBD (little black dress) or LWD (little white dress) during the summer months.
5) SBT: Which is the beauty product you cannot live without?
Anatoli: For me, skincare is the most important part, because if you don’t hydrate and prepare your skin properly, no beauty product will look as good as it’s supposed to, on your skin. So first of all, I’d say a product to remove all your makeup and then I’ll definitely choose a moisturizing eye cream, which has become a necessity for me these days.
6) SBT: How would you describe your style?
Anatoli: My personal style depends on the mood I have each day! One thing is for sure; I could never stick to only one, since I love changes in my life. Sometimes I pick more girly outfits, but there are also those days when my alter ego wakes up, and I prefer to dress in more strict lines.
7) SBT: What’s “blogging” for you?
Anatoli: A creative way to escape reality, when I feel I need it.
8) SBT: What would you advise someone who wants to start blogging?
Anatoli: If you really like blogging don’t hesitate; do it! You need to know though, that you have to spend a lot of your personal time editing, but if you decide to write systematically, I’m sure that you’ll love it and you’ll discover a whole new world! You will meet people with the same craziness as you and eventually the result will reward you.
9) SBT: What would you say is the best and the worst part of blogging?
Anatoli: As best part of blogging I will keep the more personal relationships I have with some of my viewers and of course my blogger-friends with whom we’ve become really close. The only thing that upsets me in the blogosphere sometimes, is that some bloggers are really competitive in a bad way. Remember ladies, blogging is a marathon not a race!
10) SBT: What are your plans for the future?
Anatoli: I don’t want to make long term plans in my life, but the only thing that I always wanted to do, was to travel around the world as much as I can!
10 + 1) SBT: Our final question is: Tell us a few things we may not know about you.
Anatoli: My dirty little secret is that since I can remember myself, I was a perfectionist, and that’s not good, trust me!
